Open strain data

We publish the strain-level figures behind this site as an open dataset. It's the same data the strain pages, lists, charts and tools use: lab-tested cannabinoid ranges and terpene profiles for each strain, each with its grade and the number of results behind it.

What's in it, and what isn't

  • In: per-strain aggregates (ranges, medians, counts, grades, years), terpene shares, chemovar and chemotype, and the release and method version.
  • Not in: individual lab results, lab or producer names, product names, or anything about effects. Individual results are in the upstream datasets credited below.
  • Grade D figures are blank, not zero. A blank means fewer than three results, so we don’t publish a number.
  • Units: cannabinoids are % of dry weight as reported by the labs; total THC is Δ9-THC + 0.877 × THCA (and the same for CBD; CBG uses 0.878), computed by us. Terpene shares are % of the total measured terpenes, counting only terpenes on that lab’s panel.
